Robert "Rob" Perry
Robert J. “Rob” Perry, 48, of Lowell, Ohio, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, March, 9, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 26, 1969 in Marietta, Ohio.
Rob graduated from Fort Frye High School in 1988. He was a lifelong resident of the Lowell area. Rob worked for the Asbestos Union Local 407 and Kilbarger Construction. Rob was a jack of all trades who could fix anything. He was generous with his talents, always helping friends and family. Rob found peace and spirituality while working a 12 step program and wanted people to know that it works if you work it.
He is survived by his mother, Connie Wilson; father, Drexel Perry, Jr. (Carolyn); aunt, Judy Parsons; cousins, Tina Lehman (Grant) and Lisa Hendershot Schilling; daughter, Nicole D. Hartleben (Eric); grandchildren, Braxton, Addison and Jaxson; special friend, Billia; family friend, Owen Postalwaite; half-sisters and brother, Michelle Caradonna (Rich), Vicki Massie (Grady), Drexel Perry, III (Melanie) and Jamie Perry (Dan); and nieces and nephews, Gavin, Gage, Kiara, Danae, Ellie and Emery.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Russell and Frances Parsons, and paternal grandparents, Drexel Sr. and Helen Perry.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Rob Tuttle and Roland Schwendeman co-officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and for one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
