When I was the Executive Director of the ONeill Senior Center I welcomed Roger to become a board member
Because I knew of his extensive background experience in the hospital administration field. The center was still in the growth and developement phase and he was a strong advocate to maintain and develop high quality services. The Adult Day Center was my "brainchild" and I needed strong support to launch this needed program as it was new to our area. Roger stood by me and gave me the courage to continue on becasue we had a capital fund drive to start for operating funds also with state grants to provide just the financial issues of the program. He was also instrumental in helping educate other board members and the community of the importance for this new program and how it would benefit the elderly patients and their caregivers.
It was my pleasure and honor to serve wth Roger for six years and to benefit from his vast knowledge in the business and administrative fields. He was a very fine man and was certainly an asset to the ONeill Senior Center to help become the strength it is in Marietta today..
