Bill
Peoples
Bill Peoples was raised in Lowell and graduated from
Fort Frye High School. Following
college, he graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science
and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1971.
As well as being an active member of the First Congregational Church,
Bill's caring for the community is evidenced by his involvement
in local organizations, such as Marietta Rotary Club and serving
for over 20 years on the Board of Directors for Selby General Hospital.
Bill lives in Marietta
with his wife, Patricia. Their daughter Grace is a student at Bowling
Green State University. In his spare time Bill enjoys collecting
antique hearses. and funeral memorabilia.

Patricia
Peoples
Patricia
Peoples, a licensed funeral director since 1987, is well known in
Washington County as an educator, having been associated with Warren
Local Schools, as well as Fort Frye Local School District and later
with the County School system for many years. She also had been an
adjunct professor at Marietta College and Ohio University. Pat, like
her husband, enjoys her work at the First Congregational Church and
in various community groups, including Marietta Rotary Club and Heart
of Ohio Girl Scout Council.

Brian
Scharff
Brian
Scharff was born and raised in Marietta. After graduating from
Muskingum College in 1997, he went to work for his uncle, Mr. Peoples.
Following his apprenticeship, he is now a licensed funeral director,
receiving his license in May of 2001. Brian's community involvements
include being an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and
Knights of Columbus #478, where he is a 4th Degree Knight. He is
very active with the youth and women's softball leagues. Brian resides
in Marietta with his wife, Amanda, son Caleb, and his daughter Madelyn.

Margy
Perdew
Margy
Perdew resides in Lowell with her husband, Dennis. Both graduates
of Fort Frye High School, they maintain an active involvement with
the Lowell American Legion, Post #750. Margy has been associated
with the funeral home since 1985. With her background and her dedication
to the funeral profession, she and her husband joined forces with
the Peoples to form Peoples/Perdew, Inc., owners of our
Barlow Chapel. The Perdews have two daughters, Dennise and Haley
and four grandchildren, Allex, Alleyna Elijah and Eva.
