Alicia Jean Hunt, 27, of Marietta, died Friday, August 14, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born December 11, 1987 in Columbus to Philip and Norma Jean Gumm Hunt. She was a 2006 graduate of Marietta High School and a 2008 graduate of Washington County Career Center, with a degree in Computer Graphics. She had been employed by SW Resources, attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had been involved in Special Olympics. She is survived by her brother, Brandon Hunt, maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Bessie Gumm, two aunts, Kathy Hodsden and Karen Farris, and many friends from HAVAR. Preceding her in death were her parents and paternal grandparents, Charles and Alberta Hunt. There will be a graveside service held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, WV. There will be visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home.
