Alwilda Marshall Life, 82, of Waverly Road, Williamstown, WV, died Thursday, November 5, 2009, at her home. She was born September 21, 1927 in Parkersburg, WV to Charles and Mary Julia Thirouin Marshall. She was a graduate of Williamstown High School. In the 1960s, she had worked in the cafeteria at Williamstown High School, and then at Marietta Honda Shop for many years. She had attended the First Presbyterian Church of Williamstown. Alwilda enjoyed crafting, especially working with stained glass. She is survived by a daughter, Julia King (Charles) of Williamstown, two sons, Chris Life of Tucson, AZ and Tony Life of Williamstown, three grandchildren, Sara and Emily Life of Mesa, AZ and Shane King (Tricia) of Parkersburg, a great granddaughter, Zoe King, brother, Charles Marshall, Jr. of Williamstown, a sister, Harriet Irene Wigglesworth of Nebraska, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Roy Everett Life. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2009, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with the Rev. Scott Morehead officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday for one hour prior to her service. Donations may be made to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, P.O.
