Ann Jennings Mullen

Ann Jennings (Archer) Mullen, 80, of Marietta, Ohio peacefully went to Heaven on June 10, 2024 with her husband and family by her side. She was born in Marietta, Ohio, to Walter and Martha Archer, on February 12, 1944.

She was a 1962 graduate of St. Mary Central High and attended Columbus Business College. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed fishing, baking, collecting Longaberger, cheering at youth sporting events, days in the pool and at the beach, and playing cards with loved ones. Ann also cherished spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Ann spent years working at Kmart and sold Avon to many.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Guy Gene Mullen; sons Robert Mullen and Tim (Laurie) Mullen; daughters Martha (Mick) Davis and Karen (Randy) White; grandchildren Samatha (Ben) Wyco, Ali (Tyler) Stewart, Erik White, Cole Davis, Lexie Mullen, Payton Mullen, and great-granddaughter Ellianna Wyco; siblings Jane (Chuck) Mooney, Dan (Erica) Archer, Sally (Guy) Newell, Nancy Russell, Bill (Jeannette) Archer; sister-in-law Donna Moseley, and many nieces and nephews.

Ann was preceded in death by her infant daughter; brother-in-laws Mike Russell, Harold Mullen, and Robert Moseley; and nephew Will Russell.

Ann was a member of The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption in Marietta, where a Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be held in her honor on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. with The Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell celebrating. A reception to celebrate her life will be held in the Basilica Social Hall at 2:00 p.m. following the Mass.
