Babette Helen Bole

Babette Helen Bole, 60, of Marietta, Ohio, died on Saturday, March 24, 2018. She was born on January 15, 1958 in Pittsburgh, PA, to Benjamin F. Bain, II and Catherine Hudock Bain.
Babette was a 1975 graduate of Marietta High School and received her B.A. in English from Marietta College in 1979. She was working for Campus Martius Museum at the front desk and was the volunteer coordinator.
Babette had a library of over 600 cookbooks and her love of fine food was boundless. Brad often said why go out to dinner when the best restaurant in town was in their dining room.
She is survived by her husband, H. Bradley Bole, whom she married on January 12, 1980; two sons, H. Alexander Bole (Kelly) of Cleveland, Ohio and Christopher G. Bole of Chicago, Illinois; brother, Benjamin F. Bain, III (Clare) of Indianapolis, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with The Rev. Richard Heller officiating. Family will greet friends at a reception at 4:00 p.m. at Marietta Brewing Company that afternoon.
