Barbara Ann Baker, 72, of Marietta, died Sunday, October 11, 2015, at her home. She was born July 4, 1943 in Marietta to Dale and Ruth Forester Hartline. She was a 1961 graduate of Marietta High School and had received her accounting degree from Washington State Community College. Barbara had retired in 1998 as a clerk at the Washington County Auditor's Office. She is survived by her son, Chad Baker, of Marietta; granddaughter, Destiny Baker, of Marietta, three sisters, Marilyn Nonnenmacher (Pete) of Marietta, Carolyn Miller (David) of Lower Salem and Mary Biehl of Belpre; two brothers, James Hartline (Janine Miller) and Thomas Hartline, both of Marietta, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Thomas Baker, in 1998. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015, in the chapel at East Lawn Memorial Park, with Kevin Gutberlet officiating.
