Barbara Jean Gebhart Wolfe

Barbara Jean Gebhart Wolfe, 56, Marietta, died Saturday afternoon, June 16, 2012. Born March 19, 1956, in Marietta, she was the daughter of Hilda Ann Brooker Gebhart and the late Harold J. Gebhart. She was a 1974 graduate of Marietta High School, and was employed as an office administrator at the Washington County Career Center. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Barb was an avid watcher and shopper of the QVC Network. Surviving in addition to her mother, of Marietta, are three brothers and a sister, Dan and Kim Gebhart, of Marietta, Ken and Jackie Gebhart, of Marietta, Jim and Beth Gebhart, of Charlton, MA, and Linda Gebhart, of Marietta. Also surviving are nephew and nieces Tanner, Arielle, Lydia and Madison Gebhart. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be 10:00 am Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with The Reverend Monsignor John Michael Campbell as celebrant. Burial will be in New St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will greet family and friends at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home from 6-8 pm Monday, and on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Vigil service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday. It is suggested that memorial contributions may be directed to Marietta Home Health and Hospice, 210 N. Seventh St. or The Strecker Cancer Center, 401 Matthew St., both located in Marietta, OH 45750.
