Barry Steven Burke, 72, of Marietta, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the Arbors of Marietta. He was born on March 4, 1948 in Marietta, to Robert and Vivian Beard Burke.

Barry was a past member of the Wesleyan Church, loved music, especially singing and loved to play and watch sports.

He is survived by his son, James; brothers, David and Mark; and nieces and nephews, Andrea, David J., Tara and Robert.

Friends will be received on Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, with that in mind, the 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask. For the safety of everyone, we politely ask that visitors do not linger at the funeral home after seeing the family.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020 at East Lawn Memorial Park, in their Chapel.
