Becky Lynn Dennis

February 27, 1953 — January 28, 2011

Becky Lynn Dobbins Dennis, 57, of Marietta Center and formerly of Lowell, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born February 27, 1953 in Coal Run to Anna Belle Hawkins and Walter Frank Dobbins, Sr. Becky wasn't able to pursue her hobbies of needlepoint, gardening and caring for her pets the last ten years of her life, due to her loss of sight, but, she always had a smile for everyone around her. She loved to sing, loved her family and friends, her church, and her Lord. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Dennis, special friend, Ed Farley, parents, siblings, Walter, Jr., sisters, Patsy Johnson, Sandra Adams and infant Donna. She is survived by sister, Roberta Pugh (Tom), brother, Timothy Dobbins (Judy), several nieces and nephews and a large extended family. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Souls Harbor Baptist Church, with Pastor Brian Donze officiating. There will be one hour of visitation at the church, prior to her services. She will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery.
