Bernadette Marie "Donna" Fitzgerald, 84, formerly of Crooksville, OH, died at her home in Marietta Sunday, May 27, 2018. Born in Pleasant City, OH on May 19, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Sophia Estadt Miller.
She was a member of the Church of Atonement in Crooksville. Donna enjoyed doing embroidery, tole painting, traveling and was an avid garage sale attendee.
Survivors include three daughters, Pamela Carolan (Phillip), of Tipton, MI, Robin Collins, of Marietta, and Annette Piacentini (Rick), of Rochester, NY; one son, Aaron Drew Collins (Beverly), of Crooksville; step-daughter Rhonda West (Doug), of Sonora, OH; grandson Christian Collins, of Zanesville; additional grandchildren Ian Carolan, Abby Carolan, Erica Moss, Elliott Collins, and Dominic, Olivia, Emily, and Nico Piacentini; three brothers, Andrew Miller (Judy), of Waterford, Daniel Miller (Bonnie), of Delaware, OH and Larry Miller (Sherry), of Marietta; brother-in-law George Hendershot, of Fleming; and her beloved dog "Chloe".
Donna was preceded in death by her husband Donald Fitzgerald, daughter Cheryl Collins-Reed and her sister Tarcella Hendershot.
Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption in Marietta, with The Rev. Monsignor John Michael Campbell as Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Sonora. The family will greet friends at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where a Vigil Service will be held at 3:00.
