Bernadine Mae Fox

Bernadine Mae "Bunny" Fox, 83, of Marietta, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at The Arbors. She was born May 28, 1929 in Newport to Ernest and Helen Stump Valentine. She had been a nurse at Selby, and after retiring Bunny continued her love of nursing as a long term private duty nurse. She enjoyed caring for patients at Comfort Keepers. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Bunny is survived by her children, Vicki Parhamovich (Andre) of Perry, Ohio, Sally Mitchem (Joe), Ed Fox (Diane), Jim Fox (Jeanette) and Barb Stone (Sam Becker), all of Marietta, a sister, Ruth Bauer (Ted) of Marietta, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by children, Charles Fox and Anne Fox Caseman, grandchild, Andrea "Andi" Parhamovich, great grandchild, Keith Davis, sister, Theresa Binegar and brothers, David and Robert Valentine. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Perry officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a private family burial at East Lawn Memorial Park.
