Bernice Wagner

Bernice Williamson Wagner, 97, of Marietta, Ohio, died on Saturday, May 06, 2017, at Heartland of Marietta. She was born on August 12, 1919 in Archer's Fork, Ohio, to the late Losia Cline and Sanford M. Williamson.
Bernice was a longtime member of Putnam Congregational Church and the Women's Fellowship of Putnam Church.
She is survived by her close friend, Thelma Oliver of Marietta and a few nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Henry Wagner, whom she married on April 18, 1940; one brother, Otto Glen Williamson; and four sisters, Rosabelle Gorrel, Alice Goodwill, Carrie Martin and Dorothy Carpenter.
Special thanks to Heartland of Marietta and Hannah House for all the care given to Bernice over the years.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Putnam Cemetery in Devola, with Pastor Peter Bridgewood officiating. There will be no visitation.
