Betty Jean Augenstein

Betty Jean Augenstein, 82, of Lowell, died Friday, June 19, 2015, at Marietta Center. She was born October 1, 1932 in Smithfield, WV . Betty Jean enjoyed flower gardening and loved time spent with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Gary (Cindy) of Lexington, NC, Craig (Pam), Alan, Nancy Anthony (Jeff) and Donna Babcock (Mike), all of Lowell, 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, as well as a brother, Larry Ned Truman of Spencer, WV. She was preceded in death by her mother, Garnet Truman, her husband, Carl Eugene "Peanut" Augenstein, and a brother, Jerry Ted Truman. There will be no visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the L-A Fire & Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 406, Lowell, OH 45744. The Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples is assisting the family.
