Betty Evelyn Morris

Betty Evelyn Morris, 85, formerly of Belpre, Ohio, died July 6, 2014, in Marietta. Born March 1, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan to Ralph and Ruth Downard Norris, Betty graduated from Athens High School, class of 1947.
She is survived by daughters Sharon Fenton (Tom) of Marietta and Debbie Dolly (Ron) of Mineral Wells; a sister, Shirley Koker of Nelsonville, Ohio; and a brother, Tom Norris (Karen) of Roswell, New Mexico; along with four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Paul Morris.
The family would like to thank the staff of Solana Hall at Genesis Marietta Center for their kindness and compassionate care.
A private graveside memorial will be held in the West Union Street Cemetery, Athens, Ohio. The Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
