Betty Bernadine Ritchie

Betty Roberts Ritchie, 95, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018 in Marietta. She was born on January 15, 1923 in Stewart, Ohio, to Orlan and Ruth Robinson Roberts.
Betty worked for the B. F. Goodrich Co. and later started a proprietary nursing home which she successfully ran for 25 years.
She is survived by her children, Charles Malone (Lisa) of Williamstown, WV and Kaye Hall (Jim) of Lowell, Ohio; son in law, Darrell Poole of Lake Wales, FL; four grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Malone and Robert Ritchie; daughter, Judy Poole; granddaughter, Debbie Antrim; three brothers; and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Patricia Peoples officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Monday.
