Betty Lucille Reynolds Weeks, 88, of Easton, PA, died Friday, January 2, 2015, at her home. She was born in Marietta to Milo Lee and Amanda Matilda Stauch Reynolds in December, 1926. She was a 1945 graduate of Marietta High School and received her RN degree from the Peoples Hospital in Akron. Betty worked in hospitals in Marietta and then New Jersey, working during the polio epidemic. She was a member of St. Jane Francis de Chantal Catholic Church in Easton, having served as Eucharistic Minister and was very active quilting and doing charitable work for children in hospitals. Betty is survived by her husband, Robert Weeks, sons, Robert of Manhattan, NY, Brian (Diane) of Metuchen, NJ and Kevin (Lisa) of Piscataway, NJ, grandchildren, Evan, Fiona, Liam and Dawn and sisters, Virginia Schwendeman of Beverly and Mary Lou (Bill) Hinton of Lowell and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brother, Marion Reynolds, and sisters, Patty Poling, Fran Selander and Evelyn Finder. Funeral services will be held at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Friday, January 9, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., with The Rev. Msgr. John Michael Campbell officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
