Beulah Patterson

Beulah M. Patterson, 87, of Marietta, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015, at her residence. She was born September 27, 1927 at Hills Post Office, Marietta, to the late Earl Mendenhall and Mabel Lane Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh E. Patterson, on February 15, 1988. They were married on May 1, 1965. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Lowell and Kenneth Hill; four sisters, Irene Miller, Delores Grub, Theora Miller, and Phyllis Ullman; step brothers, Max, Rex, and Larry Hill and step sister, Sharon Strickler. Surviving are step brothers, Ronnie and Teddy Hill and step sisters, Shirley Wheeler, Judith Snodgrass and Cathy Daugherty, many nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Muffitt. Before retiring she had been employed with Big Bear in Marietta for nearly thirty years. According to Beulah's wishes, there will be no visitation and private services will be held on Thursday at Rake Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley, P.O.
