Bill Darrell Murphy, 67, of Williamstown, WV, died Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at his home. He was born March 9, 1948 in Welch, WV to Earl and Juanita "Nicky" Murphy. Bill had worked as a coal miner. He enjoyed meeting his friends at the O'Neill Senior Center. Prior moving to Williamstown, Bill had enjoyed time spent at the McDowell County Commission on Aging in Welch, WV. He was adored by his daughter, Tonya Davis (Mike) of Vienna, WV and his grandson, Brady Anderson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Justice Murphy. Abiding with his wishes, cremation will take place, and the family will have a private service at a later date.
