Bradley Scott Yocom, 39, of Little Hocking, Ohio, died on Thursday, December 11, 2008 in Meadville, PA. He was born on December 27, 1968 in Millville, N.J. He is a graduate of Carson Long Military Institute in Bloomfield, PA. Brad has been a member of Labor's Local #639 in Marietta since 1989, where he was Sergeant of Arms. He attended the Grace Brethren Church in Coolville, was an avid military history enthusiast and enjoyed reading, traveling and visiting military battle sites. He is survived by his wife, June Hall Yocom, whom he married on February 14, 1993; his parents, Robert and Norma Weber Yocom of Crooksville, Ohio; step-son, Jason D. Roberts (Davena) and their daughter, Ciara, of Vincent; step-daughter, Yalonda R. Rowland of Parkersburg, WV; sister, Karen Lane (Eric) of Crooksville; grandmother, Edith Weber of Fayetteville, GA; and mother-in-law, Melba Allman of Parkersburg. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Barlow Central Cemetery, with George Horner officiating.
