Brooks Wylie Davis, 71, of Lowell, died Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born August 21, 1943 in Marietta to John Wylie and June Rose Jennings Davis. Brooks worked as a bricklayer through Union Local 52, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Squadron #750, Marietta Moose, #1823, and the Lowell Christian Church. He loved gardening, fishing, hunting and cookouts. Brooks is survived by his wife, Patricia Davis; daughter, Judine (Matt) Pottmeyer and granddaughter, Kitawna Brooke Pottmeyer, all of Lowell, as well as many other close family members. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Galen and John K. Davis. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 4, 2015, at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Tuttle officiating.
