Carol Louise Metcalf, 50, of Marietta, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at her home. She was born July 16, 1961 in Ashtabula to Roger and Helen Manchester Metcalf. Carol was a graduate of Marietta High School and had worked for WASCO. She had attended St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Marietta. Carol is survived by her daughter, Jenny Barrickman, boyfriend, John Barrickman, brother, James Metcalf (Cindy) of Parkersburg, WV, sisters, Susan Metcalf of Sylva, N.C. and Barbara Wymer (Ken) of San Diego, CA, four cousins, and one uncle, William Manchester of Philadelphia, PA. Her ashes will be buried in Edgewood Cemetery in Ashtabula at a later date. The Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Homes is assisting her family.
