Carolyn Jean Cox

Carolyn Jean Cox, 66, of Bartlett, Ohio, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 28, 1952 in Parkersburg, WV to the late Raymond and Donna Way Parrish.
Carolyn was a 1970 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She retired from Walmart in 2010. Carolyn loved to read and her great granddaughter was the light of her life.
She is survived by her children, Stephanie Roberts (Brian) of Bartlett, and Rodney Cox (Jack Reif) of Indianapolis, IN; grandson, Dwayne Singer; great granddaughter, Ayla Singer; siblings, Kenneth Parrish (Waunita), Karen Parrish and Donald Parrish (Pam); and many nieces and nephews.
Her celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1218 Market Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
