Carolyn Sue Schantz

Carolyn Sue Schantz, a beloved resident of Beverly, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17th, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born on November 12th, 1942, in Marietta, Ohio.
A proud graduate of Fort Frye High School in 1960, Carolyn went on to build a remarkable career with American Airlines, where she worked in Ground Passenger Services for 33 years before retiring in 1995.
Carolyn was a member of St. John's Evangelical Church in Lowell and the Eastern Star, Beverly 506. She found joy in yard work and nurturing her indoor plants.
She is survived by many cousins, including Jim Ullman and his wife Cheryl, her cherished dog Miley, and her friend from Texas, Jim Anthony, with whom she worked. Carolyn was also survived by her close neighbors, Jeff and Pam.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her loving parents, Carroll John Schantz and Gladys Laverne Barnes Schantz, as well as many extended family.
Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to her dedicated caregivers, Tammy, Kathy, Debbie, Sherry, and Danielle, and to the exceptional staff at Appletree Assisted Living in Beverly for their compassionate care.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Carolyn's life at the LOWELL CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Abiding with her wishes, she has been cremated and will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell.
