After an extended battle with breast cancer, Cathy Jo Cisler Mullen, 50, devoted wife and mother, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born on Friday, May 13, 1960 to William Joseph and Carol Anne Davis Cisler in Marietta. She attended Washington Elementary School and in 1968, the family moved to Pleasant Ridge where Cathy attended Stanleyville Elementary. She graduated in 1978 from Marietta High School. Cathy was employed for twenty six years at the law firm of McCauley, Webster & Emrick as their legal assistant, and prior to that at the law firm of William Burton. An avid equestrian, she worked in the family business at Beehaven Stables, assisting in the office and in the schooling arena as an instructor and horse trainer. Her early interests were tennis and horses. She was a supporter of Marietta High School and Muskingum University athletics and was active with parents and coaches in both girls and boys' sports. She was a member of the First Congregational Church. Cathy is survived by her husband, Barry Lawson Mullen, daughter, Lindsay Anne Cisler Mullen and son, Zachary William Cisler Mullen all of Marietta, her mother of Marietta, a brother, Charles Luther Cisler (Candice Hall-Cisler), a sister, Vicki Lynn Harris (Michael Allen), all of Marietta, nephews, Jeremy Michael Harris (Beth Harris) of Williamstown, WV, Will and James Mullen, Matt, Mark and Mike Warden, nieces, Halen Hall-Cisler of Marietta, Leah Martin and Alexa Mullen, a great niece, Isabelle Renee Harris of Williamstown, her mother-in-law, Suzanne Mullen of Marietta, brothers in law, Michael Mullen (Claire), and James Mullen (Linda) all of Marietta and Patrick Mullen (Carol) of Knoxville, TN, a sister in law, Kate Martin (Dan) of Marietta, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close and caring friends. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2011, at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with the Rev.
