Charles Eugene "Charlie" Rummer, 66, of Dexter City, died Monday, March 25, 2013, at his home. He was born November 25, 1946 in Marietta to Robert H. and Clara Collins Rummer. He was a graduate of Shenandoah High School. Charlie was a veteran of Vietnam, having served in the Air Force. He had been affiliated with the Lowell Legion. He had retired from the Ohio Power in Beverly. Charlie liked spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Farley (Eric) of Marietta, two sisters, Rose Delancey of Columbus and Beverly Guinn of South Carolina, two aunts, Evelyn Rice of Lowell and Eileen Cameron (Bill) of North Carolina, nieces and nephews, Anita Clark (Brad), Malessa Danford (Brian), Darron Delancey (Tammy), Josh Guinn, and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Rummer, Jr. and former wife and close friend, Teena Beck Rummer. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013, at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Friends may call on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
