Chelsea Lynn Sagowitz, 25, of Stockport, OH, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016, in Wood County, WV. She was born July 14, 1990 in Bradenton, FL to Robert Sagowitz and Robbin Potter Crofut. She was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School. Chelsea enjoyed time spent outdoors, especially at her great grandparents' farm in Stockport, and loved being with her faithful companion, her dog, Roxie. Chelsea was known to have a compassionate heart, and was always seeking to find the good in others. She is survived by her father, Ross and Jonna Sagowitz, of Mulberry, Florida and her mother, Robbin Crofut, of Little Rock, Arkansas, great grandparents, James and Gladys Swank, of Stockport, grandmother, Jane Potter, of Bradenton, FL, three sisters, Heather, Madalynn and Annie Sagowitz, all of Florida, three brothers, Paul and Jonathan, of Florida and Ross, of Little Rock, step grandparents, Howard and Cheryl Handschumacher of Belpre. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Dewayne Potter and Viola Thompson. Funeral services will be held at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Friday, April 22, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
