Cole D. Wheeler

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cole Douglas Wheeler, who left us on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, just shy of his 19th birthday. Born on April 28, 2006, in Marietta, Ohio, Cole was a beloved resident of Lowell, Ohio, where he touched the lives of many with his vibrant spirit and kind heart.

Cole was a proud graduate of Fort Frye High School and the Career Center, class of 2024. He was employed as a laborer with LS Construction and Painting, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, Cole had a passion for riding motorcycles and cherished the time spent with his friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

He is survived by his loving parents, Dennis Dean Wheeler and Elizabeth Dawn French Wheeler, both of Lowell; his brother, Blake; his maternal grandmother, Norma French; and his paternal grandmother, Cheryl Wheeler. Cole also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, as well as his faithful companion, Waylon, who was always by his side.

Cole was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Steve French, and his paternal grandfather, Randy Wheeler. Their memories will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved them.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cole's life at the LOWELL CHAPEL OF CAWLEY & PEOPLES FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell.
