David Eugene Lockhart, 55, of Elloree, SC, and formerly of Marietta, died Monday, October 12, 2009 in Columbia, SC. He was born in Parkersburg, WV on December 12, 1953 to Eugene P. and Geraldine Shutts Lockhart of Florida. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Linda Bailey Lockhart; two brothers, Dwight Edward Lockhart and Donald Lee (Debbie) Lockhart, of South Carolina, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Eugene Lockhart. Visitation will be at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. up until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Tunnel Cemetery.
