Donald W. Pinkerton, 62, of Lowell, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at his home. Born April 9, 1947 in Washington County to Oscar E. and Alice L. Roe Pinkerton. Had been employed by Washington-Morgan County Community Action for 25 years. Survived by wife, Shirley Clegg Pinkerton, brother Bradley Pinkerton (Mary) of Newport and sister, Blanche Beaver (Don) of Massillon. Preceded by parents, two sisters and three brothers. Services 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2009, Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples. Lowell American Legion Post 750 will be conducting his service. Friends may call on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Private burial will be in Rainbow Cemetery. Donations, American Cancer Society.
