Edna Lucille Maddox

Edna Lucille Maddox, 87, of Vincent, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at her home. She was born November 19, 1924 in Marietta to James and Lucy Noland Ingraham. She had retired from Barlow Vincent School as a secretary and was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. Edna is survived by her son, Jerry Maddox of Vincent, daughter in law, Norma Maddox of Parkersburg, WV, two grandchildren, Zachary Maddox (Allison) of Parkersburg and Danielle Maddox of Parkersburg, and a great granddaughter, Hannah Maddox. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Owen Maddox ,on November 20, 2009, they had been married on October 26, 1942; also by a son, Rodney Carl Maddox , and daughter in law, Jennifer Maddox. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with Pastors Rob Vernon and Chuck Kiser officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Barlow Central Cemetery.
