Elaine Arlene Harrison

Elaine Arlene Harrison, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 84. She was born on September 15, 1940, in Janesville, California to Harold Connley and Mary Shanks Connley.

Elaine dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Selby General Hospital. Her compassion and dedication to her patients were evident throughout her career, and she was respected and loved by her colleagues and those she cared for. She had a passion for reading, playing games on her iPad, and spending time with her dogs, especially her cherished companion, Seven. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Elaine's memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends, and her legacy of love and care will continue to inspire.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Peggy West, and son-in-law, Bill. Elaine was a proud grandmother to three granddaughters: Stacy Qucsai, Amanda West (Steve), and Tabatha Carpenter (Aaron). Her legacy continues with her two great-granddaughters, Alexus Carpenter and Madison West, and one great-grandchild on the way, affectionately known as "Peanut."

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, William "Bill" Harrison; her son, Donald Stotler Jr.; and one sister and six brothers. Despite these losses, Elaine's spirit remained strong, and she found joy in her family and her interests.

A private graveside service at Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown, WV will be held.
