Eric Lee Stevens

Eric Lee Stevens, 29, of Whipple, Ohio, was murdered in Zanesville on July 2, 2018. He was born December 5, 1988, to Michelle Leonhart Stevens and the late Brian Lee Stevens.
Eric attended Marietta High School and was a member of Trulight Ministries in Zanesville. He enjoyed karaoke, Pittsburgh Steelers, fishing, music, comedy and horror movies, and video games.
He survived by his mother, Michelle Stevens (Greg Athey), of Whipple, grandparents: Michael and Darlene Leonhart of Whipple, two sisters: Summer Athey of Whipple, Erica Stevens of Marietta, step-brother, Greg Athey Jr. of Williamstown , and partner, Michelle Lightfoot of Zanesville.
Eric is preceded in death by his father; grandparents: Francis and Carol Stevens and great grandparents: Francis and Gladys Landaker.
Services will be held 1:00pm Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Swartz officiating. Burial will be in Berg Church Cemetery.
