Eula Belle Reed, 94, formerly of Watertown, died Friday, February 3, 2012, at Harmar Place in Marietta. She was born March 19, 1917 in Watertown to Charles and Clancie Buchanan Beebe. She was a 1935 graduate of Waterford High School and had worked for the Washington County Agricultural Adjustment Association. Eula was a member of the Watertown Presbyterian Church and a member of the Watertown Grange and Rebekah Lodge for over 70 years. She had been a 4-H leader for several years and enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, and had loved playing the piano, especially duets with her mother. Eula adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by three sons, Ted and wife, Pat, of Marietta, Tim and friend, Debbie, of Tucson, AZ, and Tom and wife, Becky, of Frazeysburg, a son in law, Bruce Schaad, and wife, Jane, of Waterford, seven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clennen L. Reed in February of 1977, her daughter, Tina K. Schaad, in October of 2005, daughter in law, Nola Reed, in October of 1998 and four brothers, Gale, Dana, Lyle and Bill Beebe. Funeral services will be held at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Monday, February 6, 2012, at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Robin Swinsburg officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. Her burial will be in Murdoch Cemetery, Palmer Township.
