Florence Naomi Richards

Florence Naomi Richards, 84, of Marietta, died at Heartland of Marietta on Wednesday, December 3, 2008. She was born in Summerfield, Ohio on April 30, 1924 to Clifford and Anna Mae Snyder Wickham. She was a graduate of Marietta High School. She retired from Marietta College, where she had worked for many years. Florence enjoyed any time spent with her grandchildren and her great grandson. She is survived by her son, Paul Richards, Jr. (Barb); two grandchildren, Paul Eugene Richards, III (Penny) and Jennifer Richards (special friend, Casey), and one great grandson, Christopher Richards, all of Marietta. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Frances Shears. Funeral services will be held at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Monday, December 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m., with the Rev. James Spears officiating.
