Freda Diane Kellar, 84, formerly of Devola, died Monday, May 23, 2011, at Heartland of Marietta. She was born December 24, 1926 in Waverly, WV to Fred D. and Agnes F. Crouser Duffey. She was a member of the Bridge Club and the Eagles Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Lang (David) of Marietta, three sons, William Kellar, II (Nancy Anne) of Lynchburg, VA, Dana Kellar (Nancy) and Christopher Kellar (Naomi) of Columbus, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, four sisters, Naomi Rose, Sandra Vanoster (Don), and Sue Northover (Don), all of Marietta and Bobbie Anderson of Belpre, and a brother, Doug Duffey (Nancy) of Marietta. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kellar, two brothers, Fred and Clark Duffey and a three sisters, Billie Newlon and Vivian and Hope Duffey. There will be a reception held at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Sunday, May 29, 2011, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. to celebrate Freda's life. Please no cut flowers, instead give a donation to a favorite charity in her memory.
