Genevieve Morgenstern

Genevieve "Jenny" Morgenstern, 81, of Beverly, Ohio, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Harmar Place in Marietta. She was born on July 25, 1932, in Dart, Ohio to John and Lydia West Duff. Jenny was a graduate of Lawrence High School, was a self-employed craftsperson and produce farmer. She was a member of the Lowell American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 750. She is survived by two sons, Roger Morgenstern of Beverly and Daniel Morgenstern (Nanette) of Dresden, daughter, Cathy Lee (Dr. John) of Marietta, granddaughter, Lillian, and grandson, Matthew, and one brother, George Duff of Brewster. She dearly enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Morgenstern on August 10, 2003, they were married on February 17, 1953, two sisters and six brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014, at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with Myron Guiler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Donations may be made to L-A Fire & Rescue, P.O. Box 406, Lowell, OH 45744.
