Gloria E. Willard, 86, of Williamstown, WV, died Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 3, 1925 in Glendale, PA, to George Auguste and Ida Nattrass Egbert. Gloria married Isaac Willard, Jr. on June 6, 1948. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Williamstown for over 50 years and was an active member of the Williamstown Woman's Club. Gloria loved to play bridge and do handy work. She is survived by two daughters, Vicky Huffman (John) of Parkersburg, WV, and Sandra Barrett (David) of Parkersburg; five grandchildren, Erika Long (Nathan) of Lake Wylie, SC, Ryan I. Huffman of Philadelphia, PA, Richard A. Agee, Jr. (Stephanie) of Parkersburg, Valerie Reese (Tom) of Vienna, and Erin D. Long (Tony) of Parkersburg;one step granddaughter, Heather Ferguson of Marysville, OH, four great grandchildren, Holden A. Long, Brennan T. Reese, Ainsley S. Long and Taryn G. Reese; and a sister, Shirley Klein of Knoxville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 25 years, who died on June 9, 1973, a daughter, Gloria Beth Willard, and a sister, Norine Cooper. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Williamstown, with Dr. Steve Gedon officiating. Family will greet friends for one hour prior to the services at the church. There will be a private burial of her ashes in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown. The family requests that memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, be made to the pastor's discretionary fund at the First United Methodist Church, or to the Williamstown Woman's Club Scholarship Fund.
