Gregory Allen Brockmeier, 53, of Oakview Dr., Marietta, died Thursday, October 8, 2009. He was born February 21, 1956 to Ivan and Mary Ann Caldwell Brockmeier. He was a 1974 graduate of Marietta High School and had been employed as club manager for American Legion Post 64 for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Bean Brockmeier, two daughters, Rebecca Brockmeier of Marietta and Amanda Long (Huey) of Parkersburg, WV, brother, Charles, and sister, Christina, both of Marietta, nieces and nephews, Kelsie and Josh Brockmeier and Darrian, Jordan and Madisan Colliers, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded by his parents. Visitation, Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m., with services following at 5:00 p.m., with Mariesa McCloud officiating.
