Guy Douglas Malone

Guy Douglas Malone, 73, of Waterford, died Thursday, September 6, 2012, at his home. He was born February 28, 1939 in St. Marys,WV to Todd and Grethel Beaver Malone. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Guy retired in 1997 from Kardex Systems. He loved horse racing and was a member of the United States Trotting Association, working as a driver/trainer for 40years. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diana Lynn Cobb Malone, his children, Andy Malone of Waterford and Mindy Vaughn (Aaron) of Beverly, grandchildren, whom he treasured, Tyler and Maria Fisher of Beverly, siblings, Martha Hart of Marietta and Denzil Malone (Dora) of St. Marys, and his in laws, Stan and Louise Cobb of Charleston, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Glen and Carol Malone. There will be private graveside services held at the convenience of the family.
