Harry Arthur Pugh, 75, died Thursday morning, May 9, 2019, at his home in Marietta. Born March 11, 1944 in Belmont, WV, he was a son of the late Harry William and Goldie Marie McNeamar Pugh. Harry was employed as an independent contractor by The Marietta Times. He was an active person, who enjoyed being outdoors.

On May 23, 1978, Harry married Phyllis Irene Scarbrough, who survives along with his son, Fred Scarbrough (Stephanie), and daughters Crystal Taylor, Patricia Best (Bill), Diane Barbour and Debbie Peters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two brothers, William "Buck" Pugh, Sr. and Charles "Butch" Pugh, Sr. (Ruth Ann) and sister Ruth Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Anna.

Harry's family will greet friends from 5-7 pm Thursday, May 16th at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with a Service of Celebration to be at 7:00 pm.
