Helen Mae Lynch
Helen Mae Lynch, 92, of Vincent, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born September 5, 1917 in Fleming to Andrew Noble and Lulu Emma Lane McGregor. She was a 1936 graduate of Vincent High School. Helen was a member of Porterfield Baptist Church and the Grey Toppers Senior Citizens Group. She had worked hard on the family farm and enjoyed quilting and sewing. Helen is survived by five children, Geraldine Cooper (Donald) of Veto, Neil Lynch (Lola) of Vincent, Diana Dailey (Mark) of Fleming, Leo Lynch (Susan) of Vincent and Vanessa Lynch of Belpre; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, one great great grandson; two brothers, Miles McGregor (Janice) and Keith McGregor and two sisters, Emma Lou Welch and Virginia Combs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Leo Lynch, on December 26, 1982, they had been married on June 4, 1936; a daughter, Joyce Redanauer; four brothers, Ralph, Loren, Kenneth and Jim McGregor; four sisters, Margaret Parks Gregory, June Porter, Mary Nichols Jamison and Doris Reed; a grandson and a great grandson. Funeral services will be held at the Barlow Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Saturday, December 19, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Lloyd Dennis officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Friday. Burial will be at Barlow Central Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Barlow VFD, P.O. Box 121, Barlow, OH 45712.
