Herman E. Wagner
Herman Eugene Wagner, 71, of Macksburg, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 21, 1937, in Lowell, to Ollie H. and Goldie Westbrook Wagner. He was a graduate of Lowell High School. Herman retired from Globe Metallurgical in 2003, following 33 years of employment. He loved horses and was an avid hunter. Herman is survived by his wife, Twila McPeek Warner Wagner; two children, William Warner (Tammy) of Marietta and Mary Arlene (Doug) Warner of Benicia, CA; two brothers, Howard (Donna) and Ralph, all of Macksburg; two sisters, Mildred Chandler (Bob) of Lowell and Edith Jackson (Clyde) of Marietta; many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and cousins by the dozens. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Ruth, and a son, Lloyd Harvey "Bud" Warner. Abiding with his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be announced at a later date. His ashes will be buried in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell. Donations may be made to the L-A Fire & Rescue Squad, P.O.
