Howard "Big Jimmy" Starlin, 68, of Lowell, Ohio, died on May 12, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 31, 1951 in Marietta, Ohio to Dwight Willard and Delma Faye McKay Starlin.
He worked for the City of Marietta and Village of Lowell and retired from WASCO. He was a member of Lowell Christian Church and loved to fish.
He is survived by his children, Delma "Gidget" Farmer, Lola Sampson (Dan) and Howard Starlin, Jr. (Teresa Bennett), Beth Wilson (Donnie), all of Lowell, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; his faithful dog, Axel; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Frances Maxine Slack Starlin, whom he married on February 8, 1971; three brothers; and two sisters.
Abiding with government recommendations for social distancing during the COVID-19 Pandemic, a private family viewing and service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020, at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home, with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell. There will be no visitation or greeting of friends and extended family at this time. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time.
