Howard Raymond Wagner, 78, of Lowell, died Friday, April 11, 2014, at his home. He was born December 12, 1935 in Lowell to Ollie H. and Goldie Westbrook Wagner. He was a graduate of Lowell High School and served in the U.S. Army. Howard was a member of the Lowell Masonic Lodge, #436, Marietta Moose, #1823, and Lowell Knights of Pythias, Buell Lodge #395. Howard is survived by his wife, Donna Thomas Lang Wagner, and her children, Patrick Lang (Amy), Barbara Huck (Randy), and William Lang, all of Lowell, and Becky Minder (David) of New Matamoras, a brother, Ralph Wagner of Macksburg and two sisters, Mildred Chandler (Bob) of Lowell and Edith Jackson (Clyde) of Marietta, sister in law, Twila Wagner of Macksburg, many nieces and nephews, 14 step grandchildren and 3 step great granddaughters, as well as Chelsie and Cole Dutton who were just like his own children. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Marie Roush Wagner, in 1995, a sister, Ruth, and brother, Herman. Funeral services will be held at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home on Monday, April 14, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with Lloyd Westbrook officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 t 8 p.m. There will be Masonic services at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, with full military honors.
