Inez Dolores "Dot" Johnson, 90, of Marietta, Ohio, died on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Harmar Place in Marietta. She was born on November 12, 1929 in Garrett, Kentucky to Joe and Marie Chaffin Turner.

Dot had worked for Reese Optical and then Coffman Optical, retiring over 20 years ago.

She is survived by her children, Earl David Johnson of Jackson, Wyoming, Patricia Carpenter (Don Sprague) of Marietta; Terry Johnson (Karen Johnson) of Marietta and Peggy Ferrebee (Jeffrey) of Marietta; eight grandchildren; many great grandchildren; siblings, Loretta Turner Kuhn of Canton, Ohio, Marilyn O'Grady Chewning of Myrtle Beach, SC and William Dennis O'Grady (Marge) of Conway, SC; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Russell O'Grady; son, Stephen Keith Johnson; and siblings, Juanita Turner, Draxie Pearl O'Grady, George O'Grady, Earl O'Grady, Carol O'Grady Dickerson and Eleanor O'Grady Karcher.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Tunnel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home.
