Jack Allyn Ruffing, 76, of Vienna, WV, died Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Eagle Pointe in Parkersburg, WV. He was born on July 31, 1943 in Clairton, PA to Elmer and Margaret Ruud Ruffing.
Jack was a graduate of Clairton High School and served his country in the U. S. Army from 1962 to 1965. He retired as a Manager from Ferguson Enterprises. Jack was a member of The Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, St. Michael Catholic Church, American Legion Post #64 and he loved baseball. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann Fusco Ruffing, whom he married on August 6, 1966; two sons, Jodie A. Ruffing of Temecula, CA and Jay C. Ruffing (Casee) of Vienna; grandchildren, Alex J., Chase E., Mia Josephine and Lowe Roslyn Ruffing; brothers, Robert Ruffing (Gloria) of Clairton and Gary Ruffing (Kathy) of West Palm Beach, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher A. Ruffing; and brothers, Arthur and Bill Ruffing.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Vienna, with The Rev. John R. Gallagher celebrating. There will be no visitation. Private burial will take place in Jefferson Memorial Park in Pleasant Hills, PA.
