Jackie "Jack" Ray Skiver, 84, of Williamstown, WV, died on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his home. He was born on August 31, 1935 in Wheelersburg, Ohio, to Thomas Nailer and Inez Clotine Barnhart Skiver.
Jack was a Systems Analyst for Fenton Art Glass, retiring after 38 years of employment. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Williamstown and loved bowling and coaching baseball.
He is survived by three children, Brian Skiver (Maria) of Williamstown, Karen Miller of Newport, Ohio and Kevin Skiver of Williamstown; grandchildren, Brandy Gordon (Calvin), Jessica Malone (Greg), Stacy Miller, Michelle Skiver and Justin Skiver; great grandchildren, Austin Gordon, Baylee and Julia Malone, Lyndsay Burwell, and Harper, Silas and Salem Rogers; sister, Diane Rice (Jack); and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty W. Thomas Skiver, whom he married on July 16, 1955; great grandson, Reese Malone; and siblings, Bobby, Kathleen and Evelyn Skiver and Loretta Hansgen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January, 3, 2019 at the Marietta Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
