James Franklin Waggoner

James Franklin Waggoner, age 67, of Marietta, OH, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024. He was born on August 12, 1956 in Parkersburg, WV to Bobby F. Waggoner and Janet Bailey Waggoner.

Jim was a graduate of Warren High School, Class of 1974. He worked as a Chemical Operator for Shell, later Huntsman and Nova, retiring after 30 years in 2009.

He is survived by his fiancee, Diane Dyar, mother, Janet Waggoner, sister, Wanda (Steven) Hatfield, nephew, Mike Hall, and great niece, Cierra Hall.

Jim is preceded in death by his father.

Jim was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. He enjoyed boating in the Gulf of Mexico near his sister's home on Anna Maria Island, Florida.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Following Jim's wishes he will be cremated and the family will hold a private memorial service in Florida at a later date.
